Evgenia Berkovich and Svetlana Petriychuk had their sentences reduced

The military appeal court in Vlasikha commuted the sentences of Evgenia Berkovich and Svetlana Petriychuk, accused of justifying terrorism, Mediazona reports .

For Berkovich, the court reduced the term of imprisonment by five months - to five years and seven months, and for Petriychuk - by two months - to five years and ten months.

Previously, they were sentenced to six years in prison for staging the play “Finist Clear Falcon,” which tells the story of women who decided to “virtually marry representatives of radical Islam and go to join them in Syria.”
