The federal agencies of the United States deleted about 8 thousand pages from official sites in the framework of the decrees of Donald Trump, directed against initiatives to ensure diversity and “gender ideology”. It is reported by The New York Times.
Among the disappeared materials are data on vaccines and the prevention of diseases, treatment recommendations, crimes on crimes on the basis of hatred for LGBTK community, scientific research and other resources.
According to the publication, doctors, scientists and other specialists actively used these materials.
On several pages of centers for the control and prevention of diseases (CDC), error messages are now displayed. In particular, the page with recommendations on the MPOX vaccine (OSPA monkeys) is not available, writes BBC.
The information was deleted after the publication on January 29 of the official note, which required federal agencies to terminate the programs funded by the state related to “gender ideology”, as well as delete the corresponding content from official sites by January 31.
Donald Trump immediately after the President’s office issued decrees prohibiting initiatives to ensure diversity, equality and inclusiveness in government agencies. He also signed a document fixing the binary definition of gender - only male and female. Earlier, he introduced a ban on the demonstration of the flags of LGBT and BLM in state institutions.
