Former chief accountants and head of the Patriot Park Park Department received 9 years in a maximum security colony in the case of a bribe of 27.5 million rubles, the Investigative Committee reports .

According to SK, Andrei Puchkov (former chief accountant) and Ivan Trifonoglo (ex-head of the procurement department), in addition to the real term, was appointed a fine of 27 million rubles. According to the investigation, Trifonoglo and Puchkov received a bribe “for general protection” from the company, which concluded contracts for the maintenance of buildings and structures of the center with Patriot Park. The detention of the defendants in the case became known in October last year. Even earlier, in early August, the director of Patriot Park Vyacheslav Akhmedov was detained in the fraud case. Then, under house arrest, the deputy head of the Main Directorate of the Innovation Development of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Major General Vladimir Shestherov, was sent . “These persons, together with accomplices, are involved in the theft of budget funds allocated to ensure activity and the functioning of the Patriot Park and the Congress and Exhibition Center,” the SK said in a statement.

At the end of August, the security forces detained the former deputy defense minister Pavel Popov. He is also suspected of fraud when working in Patriot Park.
