Korovin’s relationship and Vedler were difficult. The couple quarreled regularly, parted and converged again. In addition, Korovin, under a receipt, took a million rubles from Vedler, supposedly for business development .

In February 2021, the next conflict occurred between Vedler and Korovin. Later, she sent a voice message to Foster and said that Korovin tried to strangle her.

At the investigative experiment, Korovin showed how Vedler tumbled down on the bed and began to strangle - he said that this happened "per second on the machine." Then Grett, according to Dmitry, “calmed down”, and he went to bed. The next morning he saw that the girl “does not react in any way”, dragged her to the bathroom. Only there Korovin, he said, realized what happened. “I just at some point realized that this was a cold body,” he said .
The next three days Korovin drank a lot and thought what to do next. He hid the body of the Vedler under the bed , and hung a “do not disturb” number on the room door. Korovin also stole the telephone of Vedler and her other things, issued a loan of 743 thousand rubles in her name and transferred another one and a half million from her bank account. After the murder, Vedler he wrote messages from her phone. During the investigation, Korovin fully pleaded guilty .
The court began in 2023, the Vedler parents spoke at it. Her mother demanded damages: she talked about the missing phone and laptop, as well as about the money that Korovin stolen. His parents tried to intercede for his son - they could not believe that he could commit this crime, and assured that he had not needed anything since childhood.
Korovin himself later complained to reporters about a poor condition: “Panic attacks began. I have not slept in fact for a year.
