Against the son of the founder of the Chronopay payment system, Pavel Vrublevsky Peter opened a new criminal case. According to the State Russian Agency of RIA Novosti, he is accused of three articles, including disrespect for court and threats to the judge (Article 297 of the Criminal Code).

In July 2024, Vrubblevsky Jr. was accused of extortion, put on the wanted list and arrested in absentia. In 2022, his father Pavel Vrublevsky was detained. According to investigators, he abducted 535 thousand rubles from Sbering customers, and also introduced payments to more than 400 million rubles into illegal turnover. In January 2025, the state prosecution requested 12 years for him.

In the case, Chronopay programmer Dmitry Somov and company employees Alexei Belyaev, Matvey Vedyashkin and Nadezhda Akimova are also held in the case. According to investigators, in 2019, the founder of Chronopay developed a plan for theft of money from customer accounts using fake sites. At them, the defendants in the case played large cash prizes in return for participation in polls, and also predicted the values ​​of currency and shares courses.
