Sadist online communities blackmail girls and make them cripple themselves on camera

Participants in the "sadistic" online communities, many of which-teenage boys-blackmail girls and make them mock themselves on camera. According to The Times, the number of such crimes in the UK over the past two years has grown six times. We are talking about thousands of victims.

So, the 17-year-old resident of London Richard Ekhemer last month was found guilty of fraud and crimes related to child pornography. It was in the online community CVLT. Its participants were blackmailing girls in social networks: they asked them to send intimate photos, and then threatened to publish images if the victims did not obey new requirements.

After that, the girls were forced to participate in group video calls, where they were ordered to cripple themselves or perform sexual actions. In the most severe cases, they were persuaded to commit suicide.

According to Times, such online communities regularly spread malicious and misogyn content, including "extreme images of violence, dismemberment and sexualized violence over children."

As a rule, the participants of such groups are young boys, driven by a thirst for power, misoginia or passionate about cruelty and violence.
