In April, it became known that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia creates the police officers equipped with armored vehicles to combat diversions on railways. Since the beginning of a full -scale war in Ukraine, arson of railway equipment, explosions of routes and other promotions have become a regular occurrence in Russia. In September 2023 (that is, for 19 months of the war), the “Solidarity Zone” counted 111 sabotage on the railway according to open sources. One of the largest incidents of this kind was the undermining of the railway track in the Ryazan region in November 2023 - 19 wagons left the rails. The investigation had neither the name of the suspect, nor a motive - only a trace of a bicycle tire, a silhouette in the chamber and a photobot collected according to fragmentary signs. Three weeks later, a policeman stopped a man in the courtyard of an ordinary high -rise building. This was the beginning of a high -profile case about the "terrorism" against the anarchist Ruslan Sidika. By the aggregate of charges, he faces from 15 to 30 years in a colony or lifelong imprisonment. Based on the materials of his criminal case, The Insider recreated the story of this hunt - step by step, from one fuzzy frame to an accidental meeting at the entrance.

On November 11, 2023, at 7:10 a.m. on the stage between the Rybnoye and Blok Post 204 km stations, 19 carcasses of freight train No. 2018 took off from the rails. A train weighing 5154 tons of Apatite concentrate from the Murmansk region to the Saratov region. The composition was ruled by the driver Dmitry Unshakov and his assistant Sergei Tarabukin.

“We walked [at speed] 54 km per hour, - later he will tell at the interrogation of Unshakov. - There was a strong cotton. In the cabin of the electric locomotive, where I was with my assistant, side glasses flew out, the front cracked. I saw how the wires above the tracks came in a shake, so I immediately used emergency braking. ”

While the assistant driver went to inspect the composition, Unshakov announced the incident in the dispatch. Returning, Tarabukin reported on the situation - the wagons went off the rails. Subsequently, he testified that the explosion was alone, the pressure in the brake system did not fall, he did not see outsiders on the tracks.

At the site of the gathering - the so -fired sleepers, part of the rail is cut off, the break is uneven, as after the explosion. A funnel is about 4.5 by 3 meters in size. Metal rods stick out in crushed stone, around - fragments of sleepers, fragments, torn fasteners. The contact network is damaged, one of the supports is absent. On both sides of the paths - a forest belt.

Almost immediately, the security forces arrived at the place: the FSB, the police, the Investigative Committee, the Center for Combating Extremism, the Russian Guard, dog handlers, the DPS crew - more than 25 people. Later, the Saperian OMON engineer Vyatich arrived, who, after inspection of the scene of the explosion, gave a conclusion: more than 10 kg of explosives in TNT equivalent were used. The sapper found microcircuits with island, batteries, a syringe case with powder, traces of white matter, as well as a black toe with a camera, mounted on a tree at an altitude of about five meters.

“I saw a lens sticking out of the sock. It was a video camera, but had signs of mining. To neutralize the device, we decided to cut off the part of the tree where it hung but did not have time - the camera exploded and caught fire. It was a self -destructive device, and probably the target sensor worked, ”Saperer later testified.

To inspect the territory, they attracted service dogs. One of them began on the site where the wagons left the rails, walked along the railway canvas, past a tree with a camera and went into the forest. There, the dog went to the gravel road, crossed the paths, turned onto the lane - and the trace broke off.

The dog handologist with the second dog examined the area, relay cabinets, signal blocks - neither traces of explosives or characteristic odors were found.

In parallel with the inspection of the place of undermining, the investigators went around the surroundings. On the highway towards the fishing, they found traces of bicycle tire leading to the Combine Builder's summer cottage partnership. On the side of the Zhozhazdorozhnozhnaya Street in Ryazan is another distinct trace of the tread, leaving towards the forest belts. Opposite one of the buildings on this street is the path to the paths. Later, investigators found a place on it with obvious signs of “lying” (shelters) - crushed leaves on the site of one by two meters. Then the version of the cyclist first arose.

The official damage from the undermining amounted to more than 800 thousand rubles to the consignor and over 30 million - Russian Railways. The investigation qualified what happened as a terrorist attack. According to the security forces, a home -made explosive device worked.

The search for those involved in what happened began.

Fuzzy silhouette. The first clues

The next day, November 12, investigators began to interview those who could at least see something. Among the first - the crew of the traffic police, which on the eve of the night patrolled an industrial street near the place of undermining. The inspector recalled: between half of the third and three hours of the night, a man went on a bicycle in the passing direction with them. He did not remember his faces, a bicycle or a cyclist’s clothing. But this was the first clue.

Investigators went around the enterprises along the Street Zhelezodorozhnoye - searched for cameras aimed at the road. Several cameras were found on the facade of the Isoopip factory, some of which were directed directly to the roadway.

The first find - the camera recorded, as at 07:14 in the morning, after the explosion, a man drove along the edge of the road at high speed in camouflage clothes with a black backpack behind his back. The direction is from Ryazan towards the fish.

On the same day, the security forces seized videos from the Astplast, Ramz and Elcon enterprises. On the cells "Astplast" at 06:33 in the morning, a silhouette of a cyclist appeared in the frame, who was driving in the same direction. The face is hidden, in the frame it remains only eight seconds.

There were no useful information on the video from the Ramz plant: the cameras were turned inside the premises or installed too far from the road.

Now the investigation had three clues - three videos with the same cyclist. No face, no voice, only direction, clothing, backpack, route. From this moment, attempts began to “sew” the route - from frame to frame, from street to forest belt.

Search for partisan. "Promptively significant information has not been received"

Having a video with a cyclist in their hands, the security forces began to work “to the touch”. The name is unknown, the route is torn, no traces - neither prints nor a phone signal. Investigators began to work out all possible options in search of new clutches.

In Ryazan, they checked shops with names like “brother”, “Russian fishing”, “legionnaire” - those that trade dry combustible, army equipment, radio components. One by one, the sellers answered: they did not sell anything similar, they did not see, they did not remember. The same thing - in the network "traffic lights", in the army departments, in household chemical stores.

The police even worked out the purchase of an increase in voltage converter - an electronic part that can be used to assemble detonators in home -made explosive devices. But here is a dead end: the buyer was an engineer who is engaged in developments in the defense sector. His leadership confirmed that the device was purchased for official purposes.

Next - removable housing. At this stage, the investigation most likely proceeded from the simplest: a person could be visitors. He arrived - undermined - left. We checked the ads for Avito, phoned realtors, collected lists of apartments for daily rent. The hostels and even garages examined. We talked with the chairmen of garage cooperatives, with residents of high -rise buildings, with management companies - nothing.

We checked nearby settlements. Investigators examined the territory of the Garden Partnership "Combine -building" - there, according to one version, could leave the cyclist after undermining. In the SNT, 381 plots are registered, of which more than a hundred are abandoned. Only six families constantly live. They all stated that they did not see outsiders and no one came to them.

We went around the empty sections, examined the abandoned cottages, checked if anyone could leave a bicycle there. Found nothing.

Separately noted the citizens of Ukraine. In people who have forcedly left the occupied territories and the Kolos and Sazhnevo PVR, DNA - saliva and blood. Also, genetic material was taken from the military from local parts. “Territory is under control. The promptly significant information has not been received, ”the police reported in reports.

This was no longer the first sabotage in the region. In the summer of 2023, unknown people attacked the military airfield of Diaghilev - with the help of drones. Then no one was detained, the investigation did not have a single clue, and the case came to a dead end. They did not want the story with failure to repeat.

Former fighters of the Wagner PMC living in the Ryazan region were also checked for involvement in sabotage. Suspicions did not arise from scratch: November 2023 went on, only a few months passed after the rebellion of Prigozhin, and the theme of the “Wagnerians”, who returned from the front and whose loyalty aroused doubt in power, remained relevant.

The names appeared in the materials: Timur Mingazov, Kirill Petrov, Artem Khozinov. The security forces studied the places of residence, social networks and the connections of all three. One is supposedly at rehabilitation after a wound, the other has not appeared at home for a long time, the third, according to relatives, sits or works at a construction site. Everyone has combat experience, criminal record. But not one of the three was next to the place of explosion on November 11.

For examination, a retired specialist was connected, in the past-a reconnaissance of the USSR KGB-KGB reconnaissance. He got acquainted with the case file and gave his conclusion: there were two explosive devices located at a distance of about 6 meters from each other. This approach, according to the expert, is used to guarantee a railway from the rail. Explosives of normal power, namely TNT, were used to undermine, at least 500 grams.

The former saboteur noted that before installing, the terrain was probably carried out, and the device itself was assembled in advance, in the conditions where cleanliness was observed, the accuracy of the assembly pointed to this.

From the conclusion it became clear that the suspect owned technical skills, understood the design of the railway and did not act spontaneously - the partisan had a clear plan.

A few days later, from the beginning of the search, the investigation still moved almost blindly. The cyclist remained a shadow without a face and name. But on November 16, another video appeared.

"He is definitely not local." The partisan has a face

Cameras from private houses on the streets of Sadovaya and Postal in the village of Perekal recorded the newly emerging cyclist. In the frame - the same silhouette, the same rhythm of movement, the same direction: from Ryazan towards the fish. On two records with an interval of seven minutes, he crosses the frame and disappears around the bend.

This is no longer a coincidence. Four videos are all in the same direction.

At the same time, investigators interviewed the saleswoman from the village of Markovo Olga Doronin. She remembered that one of her shifts, shortly before undermining, an unfamiliar man entered the store. According to her, he was dressed in a camouflage jacket several sizes, behind his back there was a voluminous backpack. The hat was stretched almost to the eyebrows, the face was thin, closer to the triangular, with bristles, the eyes are light.

“He asked if there is a part -time job in Markovo. Then - is there a monastery nearby. I replied that I was in Propyupovo, and explained how to get. Then he thanked and left. I didn't see him anymore. He is definitely not local, ”Doronin told investigators.

Based on her words, a photobot was compiled. It will take a little: the face is ordinary, the gaze is not remembered, nothing bright. But this is the first image of the suspect. Investigators have a landmark.

Random meeting. "I made a couple of errors"

The creation of a photobot did not give quick results. Investigators continued bypassing - now with orientation on their hands. Quarter behind the quarter, house behind the house. On -duty questions, short conversations in the porches, who lives where, who came when. Nothing remarkable. No one was waiting for a sharp turn - they simply worked out the address at the address, the house behind the house.

International street is closer to the outskirts of Ryazan. Dense multi -storey building, private sector and fields nearby. The area where you can leave and not get to the cameras. Or vice versa - to hide without causing suspicions.

It was on this street on November 29, during the next apartment bypass that the policeman stopped the man who left the entrance of house No. 13a. He compared his face with a photobot and urgently asked to drive with him to department No. 4 in Ryazan - for a conversation. He agreed.

Ruslan Sidiki at that moment no one was looking for purposefully. He was detained by pure chance.

Even after the detention of Ruslan Sidiki, the security forces had no confidence that the person they were looking for in front of them. They began to ask him about where he was November 11. In the answers, he got confused a couple of times, and this was enough to arouse suspicion.

As it later became known from Ruslan’s letters, torture began then. Under torture, he gave a confession not only in the case of the explosion on the railway, but also on the episode with the summer attack on the Diaghilev airfield, in which at that time there were neither suspects nor any clocks. After the recognition of Ruslan, both things united.

Later, Ruslan’s lawyer achieved the issuance of a medical examination certificate, which his client passed when he was delivered to a pre -trial detention center. It recorded multiple wounds on the head and wrists, bruises in the eye area and large hematomas on the back. As Ruslan recalls, knocking out the testimony, one of the security forces said: “I already wanted all the cyclists in Ryazan to ** anger.”

The "Solidarity Zone" published Ruslan’s story about torture, which he had to endure in the night of the detention:

“A man in appearance about 50 years in civilian clothes began to say that if I voluntarily do not confess to the undermining now, they will take me out of town and stage an attempt to escape in order to have a legal opportunity to shoot me, and before that they will torture.

After I agreed to cooperate and testify, I was asked the question of whether I have chronic diseases. After my answer, “no” one of these people struck the head, and I fell to the floor.

In the office at that moment there were at least six people. When I lay on the floor, I stepped on my arms and on my feet so that I could not move them, although I did not show any resistance. Parts of my legs were exposed to me in the area of ​​the ankles, and I felt that they were tied to me something. (...) Then one of them said to someone: “Call!”

At this moment, the discharge of electric current was passed through my body, greatly reducing the muscles from unbearable pain, I shouted very much and fought my head on the floor, one of them stood in front of me and took me to the phone. Точное время, сколько длились пытки, я не могу сказать, так как после нескольких ударов током мое сознание помутилось, могу сказать, что это невыносимо больно.

Задержание оформили на 30 ноября. Все документы — рапорты, протоколы, признания — начинаются с этой даты и не содержат ни одного упоминания о насилии.

Почти все выводы о том, что пошло не так, Руслан сделал сам — уже после ареста. В письмах из СИЗО, которыми поделился с The Insider Иван Асташин, он подробно разобрал свои ошибки.

Intelligence. «Когда я проводил разведку возле железной дороги, то поленился и решил проехать через дачи — на велосипеде, в паре километров от места будущего подрыва. Я встретил пару бабушек, которые могли меня запомнить, — дачники обычно с подозрением смотрят на чужаков.

По-хорошему, в такой ситуации надо было менять точку. Но сроки поджимали — на подготовку было две недели, и уже надвигался снег. Я решил остаться при своем: казалось, шанс, что меня вычислят, минимален».

Отсутствие легенды. «Я не продумал легенду на день подрыва. По-хорошему, должна быть четкая история — куда шел, зачем, во сколько. У меня ее не было. Даже когда меня задержали, они все еще не были уверены, что я причастен».

Маршрут отхода. «Возвращаться в город нужно было не сразу. Надо было отсидеться в лесу до темноты, а потом идти по знакомым тропкам. Но я устал — и последний километр прошел по асфальту. Подумал, что уже безопасно. Это было ошибкой».

Disguise. «Лицо нужно было скрывать до самого возвращения домой. Но после переодевания почувствовал себя неуязвимым — и расслабился. Одежду тоже надо было подобрать более закрытую. Тогда бы шансов засветиться было меньше».

Цифровой след. «После задержания у меня изъяли телефон. Увидели подписки в Telegram — и сразу сделали вывод, что я как минимум не поддерживаю „СВО“. Это была еще одна ошибка. В сети надо было выглядеть как обычный турбопатриот».

Residence. Руслан остался в городе, совсем рядом с местом подрыва, и не предусмотрел никаких мер безопасности: «Если бы я тогда повесил IP-камеру у двери, то хотя бы увидел со смартфона, что менты приходили опрашивать соседей».

Контакт с силовиками. «С момента подрыва прошло почти двадцать дней. Я уже расслабился — и не придал значения тому, что у подъезда стоит мент. Он сравнил меня с кадром с камеры наблюдения и предложил проехать для беседы в отдел № 4. Я согласился.

Там взяли слюну для ДНК-теста. Потом пришли люди в гражданском и начали задавать вопросы: где был, что делал 11 ноября. Я пару раз запутался в ответах — и один из них понял, что я что-то скрываю.

Надо было не идти. Сказать: выписывайте повестку, приходите с ордером. Может, получилось бы выиграть время».

Незнание своих прав. «Не помешало бы лучше знать свои права при задержании — и понимать, какими методами работают силовики».

Руслан пишет, что почти двадцать дней до задержания — уже само по себе достижение. Он считает, что его опыт может стать полезным другим партизанам:

«Двадцать дней до задержания, в принципе, показывают, что им было тяжело. Про атаку на аэродром я вообще молчу — там они в тупике были сто процентов. Думаю, из моей поимки можно извлечь пользу — в плане информации. Она может быть полезна городским диверсантам».

«В любом случае я не жалею о том, что сделал, — пишет Руслан. — Мне теперь хотя бы не стыдно — как было бы, если бы я не сделал ничего. Як би нам не було важко, нам більше не буде соромно ».

На момент публикации материала Руслан Сидики находится в СИЗО. По совокупности обвинений ему грозит от 15 до 30 лет колонии или пожизненное заключение.
