At night, on April 24, Kyiv and Kiev region, as well as Zhytomyr, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Poltava, Khmelnitskaya, Sumy Region and Zaporozhye, were under a massive combined blow of Russia. According to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klimenko, 9 people were killed in Kiev as a result of the attack, more than 70 people were injured of varying severity. At the place of work of emergency services, there are restrictions.
“Kyiv was most affected: rescuers worked on 13 locations. Severe consequences in the Svyatoshinsky district. There is still the analysis of the rubble of the destroyed house. (...) Phone calls are heard from under the wreckage-the searches will continue until they are convinced that they have removed everyone. There is information about two children who have not yet been found at the place of the tragedy, ”the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
In Kharkov, due to impacts of missiles and drones, residential buildings and civilian infrastructure were damaged, strong fires arose, the State Emergencies Ministry of Ukraine reported.
