The US naval forces lost the F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter in the Red Sea during the maneuvers of the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier. As stated in the Navy’s message, published on April 28, during the towing of the aircraft in the hangar, the crew lost control, and the fighter along with the tractor fell overboard. All members of the team were found, one sailor received a slight wound.

Another official confirmed that the fighter sank. According to the Navy, one F/A-18 Super Hornet costs $ 60 million.
