Работа московского аэропорта «Внуково»была парализована почти на 10 часов в первой половине дня 7 мая из-за массированной атаки украинских беспилотников. Именно туда прибывают иностранные делегации на парад Победы, в том числе из Бразилии и Китая. Около 14 часов начался новый налет дронов на территорию РФ.
В Саранске в ночь на 7 мая произошли два пожара после атаки беспилотников. Согласно анализу ASTRA, одно из атакованных предприятий — АО «Оптиковолоконные системы», первый и единственный в России завод по производству оптического волокна, который, по словам советника министра внутренних дел Украины Антона Геращенко, производит кабели для управления беспилотниками в войне против Украины.
Второй пожар произошел на территории, где, предположительно, расположен завод «Сарансккабель». Местные власти подтвердили факт атаки БПЛА, но не комментировали конкретные объекты, при этом в городе отменили занятия в образовательных учреждениях и запретили публикацию фото- и видеоматериалов о последствиях нападения. В Костромской области после отражения атаки украинского беспилотника в Нейском районе власти приняли решение эвакуировать жителей южной части города Нея, где проживает около 8 тысяч человек. Людей, не имеющих личного транспорта, вывозят в помещения нейского подразделения Костромского автотранспортного колледжа через организованные пункты сбора, а остальным рекомендовали самостоятельно переехать в северную часть города или к родственникам. Губернатор Костромской области Сергей Ситников, выехавший на место происшествия, ранее сообщил , что при атаке беспилотника ВСУ ночью 7 мая пострадавших и разрушений не было. Причины необходимости эвакуации именно южной части Неи в сообщениях не указываются.
По подсчетам волонтеров CIT , за предыдущие сутки с 20:00 5 мая до 20:00 6 мая в России и в Украине, в том числе на оккупированных территориях, погибли как минимум 11 мирных жителей, еще 56 получили ранения.
