In Moscow, Anatoly Novyatkin, the director of the Eksmo Publishing House, was detained - about ten more people detained law enforcement agencies with him. This was reported to TASS in power structures.
The detentions were carried out as part of the criminal investigation under Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation regarding the involvement of an extremist organization.
The Exmo publishing house informed The Insider about the seizure of “Materials related to the books of the PopCorn Books publishing house”.
“There was the removal of materials related to the books of the PopCorn BOOKS publishing house. Employees of law enforcement officers presented a decision on the seizure of a number of books in connection with the initiation of a criminal case. The employees of the publishing house were refused to receive a copy of the document. An oral explanation was received that the initiation of a criminal case is associated with the propaganda of LGBT. At the moment, publisher’s lawyers are trying to get additional information. We do not have other information. We understand, ”the company said.
Popcorn Books publishing house published the book “Summer in the Pioneer Tie”, written in co -authorship Elena Malisova and Katerina Silvanova. Roman talks about the relationship of a pioneer with a counselor in a children's camp in the mid-1980s. Earlier, Ozon removed the book from the sale at the request of the State Duma deputy Alexander Hinshtein.
