A resident of Yalta was sentenced to 1 year and 8 months in prison in a colony-settlement.
On May 23, the press service of the Office of the FSB of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol announced the sentencing under part 2 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public calls for extremist activities committed using the Internet).
According to the FSB, in 2021, the 29-year-old defendant of the case repeatedly on the Telegram network published calls "to carry out violent actions against a group of persons on the basis of nationality-Russians."
The court sentenced him to punishment in the form of imprisonment for a period of 1 year 8 months with serving a sentence in a penal colony.
From the court card it follows that on March 19, the Yalta City Court sentenced Denis Yanchus.
