US Presidential Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg said on Fox News that the presidents of Russia, Ukraine and the United States Vladimir Putin, Vladimir Zelensky and Donald Trump may meet in Geneva.
“We would like to hold it in the Vatican , but the Russians did not want to go there. So Geneva could be the next stop where all three leaders—President [Trump], President Putin, President Zelensky—meet to agree on a document and end the war,” Kellogg said.
Kellogg also said that Washington has already received a list of conditions for a ceasefire from Kyiv and is now waiting for one from Russia, after which negotiations can take place.
“A little over a week ago, the Russians announced that they were going to develop a so-called memorandum on achieving peace. We received one from the Ukrainian side, now we need to get it from the Russian side so that we can compare them later,” Kellogg noted.
At the same time, Trump’s special envoy emphasized that it is necessary to continue to put pressure on Russia to end the war as quickly as possible.

Russia is not considering the possibility of holding negotiations in Europe
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that Switzerland cannot be a place for negotiations on Ukraine, since, according to him, it has ceased to be a neutral country.
Trump expressed the idea of holding a meeting in the Vatican after a telephone conversation with Putin on May 19. The Wall Street Journal wrote that a new round could take place in the Vatican as early as June.
Reuters, citing Russian sources, reported yesterday that Russia is considering five countries as a platform for direct negotiations with Ukraine. We are talking about Turkey, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman. The possibility of holding a meeting in the Vatican is excluded; one of the sources even compared it to organizing negotiations in The Hague.
The previous negotiations between Russia and Ukraine took place in Istanbul on May 16. They marked the first direct contact between the warring countries in three years.
