The Tagansky District Court of Moscow registered the administrative protocol on the “propaganda of pedophilia”, drawn up for the Wikimedia Foundation Foundation, which controls Wikipedia. This was reported by "Mediazona", drawing attention to the card of the case on the website of the Moscow courts.
The reasons for the initiation of the case are not yet disclosed, the date of the court session has not been scheduled. Earlier, the fund was repeatedly fined in Russia - including for refusing to delete articles on the invasion of Ukraine, which Roskomnadzor considered “false” and “anti -Russian”. The basis was materials about the battles in the Sumy and Kherson regions, as well as the songs of the Psyche group and articles about the hooking. The final received the last fine of 4 million rubles in August 2024.
Since the beginning of a full -scale war, Roskomnadzor called "Wikipedia" a "new line of permanent attacks on Russians." The department accused the encyclopedia of promoting the "anti -Russian interpretation of events."
In December 2023, the Russian project “Vikimedia Ru” stopped working, supporting Wikipedia in Russia. In the spring of 2024, the Ministry of Justice included the former director of the organization Stanislav Kozlovsky in the list of “foreign agents”.
