In Rostov-on-Don, a family from Melitopol was condemned on charges of partisan activity. One of the defendants received a life sentence

The Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don sentenced three residents of the occupied Melitopol accused of organizing sabotage. Artyom Murdid received a life sentence, his mother Anna Murdid - 22 years in prison, and his wife Anna Volshkoder - 20 years of colony. It is reported by "Mediazona."

According to investigators, the family acted at the direction of the "unidentified employee of the SBU" and prepared explosions in the occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhya region. The only successful, according to the prosecution, was the undermining of the car of the director of the local State Unitary Enterprise “City Transport” Ivan Tkach - he died in the hospital, his colleague was seriously injured.

Other episodes-attempts to attack the railway and collaborators, including the “head of the Military-Civil Administration” of Melitopol-were unsuccessful, follows from the materials of the case.

In their last words, all three announced torture and pressure from the Russian security forces. Artyom Murdid said that he gave a confession under torture:

“I learned about the essence of the accusations from representatives of law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation, who created certain physical conditions - violence and torture, as a result of which I was forced to testify on which the charge was based.”

Anna Murdid said that after the detention she was beaten and tortured:

“I am not Nazi and do not adhere to nationalist views. I ask you to take into account the state of my health and the fact that I need constant medical care. ”

Anna Vokshder, the mother of a young child, rejected the accusations of nationalism and asked the court not to separate her from her family:

“Communicating with people, she never paid attention to their nationality. For me, everyone is equal. Therefore, I cannot be a nationalist. When sentencing, I ask you to take into account the presence of a small child. ”

The family was found guilty of a number of grave articles, including the “terrorist act” and “participation in the sabotage group”.
