Rosseti said that it would use foreign unlicensed software until the end of its service life, since the transition to Russian analogues requires significant costs. According to Vedomosti, this was stated by the deputy general director for digital transformation Konstantin Kravchenko.

According to him, the depreciation period of the foreign software used is from five to seven years. Before its "wear", the company does not plan a full -scale transition to domestic products.

Only on May 26, at a meeting on digitalization issues, Vladimir Putin said that foreign IT companies who officially left Russia actually continue to work, and called for “strangling” them:

“We must strangle them. I say without any hesitation, because they are trying to strangle us. We must reciprocate, ”the president said.
