The number of victims due to the collapse of the bridge in the Bryansk region increased to 104 people, TASS writes with reference to the governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz. According to him, in Moscow clinics there are 22 victims, in hospitals in the Bryansk region - 38 people. Three of the hospitalized in serious condition.

On the evening of May 31, the passenger train No. 86 Klimov - Moscow left the rails in the Vygonichsky district of the Bryansk region after the collapse of the automobile bridge over it. It had 388 passengers.

Seven people were killed, including Lokomotiv driver and 32-year-old Violetta Gorynya, a palliative care doctor from the children's house with a lighthouse, the head of the hospice Lida Moniava said on Facebook. The doctor was traveling on a train with the whole family. Her husband was almost not injured, and children (7 years and 5 months) received numerous fractures and are now in the hospital.

Bogomaz said that the reason for the collapse of the bridge was to undermine. SK opened a case under an article about a terrorist attack. About 200 people and 60 units of equipment were involved in the elimination of the consequences of the accident. On June 2, 3 and 4, they are declared in the field of mourning days.

The collapsed bridge is not subject to restoration, in its place a new one will be erected over time. According to the governor, it will take about four months. Families of the dead will receive 1.5 million rubles, the injured - from 300 thousand to 600 thousand rubles, depending on the severity of injuries, he said.

As a result of the incident, the Belarusian railway changed the traffic routes of a number of trains, traffic around 32 km of federal roads A-240 in the Bryansk region is blocked .
