The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umarov said that the Russian side in the second round of negotiations did not agree to the unconditional ceasefire and the personal meeting of the presidents. Only the exchange of prisoners managed to agree on.
“We will focus on the exchange of seriously wounded, seriously ill and prisoners under the age of 25. We also agreed to return the bodies of the dead soldiers - 6,000 by 6,000, ”said Umarov.
He added that Ukraine proposed holding the next meeting from June 20 to 30.

TASS sources reported that on June 2, the delegations are not planned to leave Turkey on June 2.
According to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andrei Ermak, the Ukrainian side handed Russia the official list of "hundreds of children who need to be returned." According to him, we are talking about minors, whom Russia "illegally deported, moved or holds in the occupied territories."
The journalist of The Economist Oliver Carroll, citing sources, said that Medinsky reacted to mention the Ukrainian delegation about children with the phrase: “Do not arrange an idea for childless European old women.” According to him, the delegations did not shook hands and no steps to resolve the conflict were taken.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky at a press conference in Vilnius confirmed that the parties exchanged documents through Turkey's mediation. According to him, Ukraine is waiting for a new stage in the exchange of prisoners. Zelensky added that Russia for the first time officially handed over to Ukraine its memorandum with the conditions of settlement of a military conflict.
