A bronze monument to Daria Dugina with a height of more than three meters will be erected in the suburbs

The bronze monument to Daria Dugina, who died as a result of the explosion in August 2022, will appear in the Odintsovo district of the Moscow Region, in Zakharovo Park. This was announced by the head of the Odintsovo city district Andrei Ivanov.

According to him, a sculpture 3.5 meters high is created by Dmitry Alexandrov, an artist who personally knew Dugin.

“The project provides not only the creation of the monument, but also the improvement of the territory. Install benches and backlight, transform the surrounding space. All work should be completed by the anniversary of the death - August 20, ”said Ivanov.

Zakharovo Park was the venue for the Festival "Tradition", after which Daria Dugina was heading home on the day of her death.

Daria Dugina is the daughter of the ultra -right philosopher Alexander Dugin, close to the Russian authorities. She died on August 20, 2022: an explosive device worked in her car. According to Russian special services, a citizen of Ukraine Natalya Vovk, put on the wanted list, was involved in the murder. The chairman of the IC of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, stated that the crime was disclosed using the artificial intelligence system.

After the death of Daria Dugina, her name began to be used in public projects: in September 2022, the Street was renamed in Yasnogorsk, the Tula region, and in April 2024, the busts of Daria and Alexander Dugins were represented in the Moscow Zaryadye Park at the exhibition “And I saw a new sky and new earth”.
