Blackout spread to Liberetsky, Severchesh, East -Cheshsky and Middle Cheries, as well as part of Prague. The cities of Ust-Sna-Labem, Counted-Coolov and Liberes also remained without light.

The metro stopped working in Prague, the movement of most tram and bus lines stopped, shopping centers closed . In some houses, people are stuck in elevators, ATMs also stopped working. Czech carriers Regiojet and české Drahy reported the suspension of the railway message.

As a resident of Prague Ekaterina told The Insider, there are interruptions in the vicinity of the capital, including with mobile communications:

According to the state-owned company čeps, the accident occurred due to the failure of one of the power lines, namely the fall of the phase wire. The reasons for the incident are clarified.

The Czech Police clarifies that "at the moment there is no information that it is a cyber/terrorist attack."
