A resident of Zelenograd was charged with abuse of animals after he threw four home chinchillas from the balcony, the press service of the metropolitan prosecutor's office reports .
According to the case file, the accused in a state of intoxication fed chinchilla, previously acquired by his wife. The pets bit him, after which the man was furious pulled all four chinchillas from the cage, went out onto the balcony and threw them off the height of the third floor. As a result of his actions, two chinchillas died, and two more received injuries. The man pleaded guilty and repented of his deed, the prosecutor's office said.
