After a complaint of Orthodox activists about dancing at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow, three students of the RSHPU named after Stroganov was held accountable for petty hooliganism and expelled from the educational institution.
In early June 2025, it became known that representatives of the Forty Forters complained to the RF IC of the Russian Federation on the publication of a video where three girls dance the Truck against the backdrop of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow. Orthodox activists demanded that the girls bring to criminal liability for insulting the feelings of believers.
We are talking about three students of the Russian State Artistic and Industrial University (RGHPU) named after Stroganova. The university decided to expel them immediately after it became known about the publication of this video. The press service of the university reported that the girls were “expelled <...> for violation of public order and insulting the religious feelings of citizens. This behavior is incompatible with the status of a student of a state university. ”
Later it became known that the girls were brought to administrative responsibility under Art. 20.1 Code of Administrative Offenses (petty hooliganism).
