Against the former employee of the Presidential Administration, the case of the Stateizer was opened

In the Lefortovo Court of Moscow, the investigation was received by the investigation under the article on the state treason of Saltykovsky V.A. A person with such a surname and initials held the position of deputy head of the Department of International Educational Cooperation at Moscow State University, and previously worked in the management of the President of the Russian Federation. Attention to this was drawn by the publication of “important stories”.

According to the card on the website of the Lefortovo Court, the investigation asks Saltykovsky to be arrested under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - “State treason”. The court has not yet been made by the court. It is not known whether the accused is in custody or put on the wanted list - in such cases, the arrest may be in absentia.

As “important stories” found out, the full name of the possible defendant of the case is Vadim Arturovich Saltykovsky, a 60-year-old resident of Moscow. For many years he worked in the field of international educational cooperation. In particular, he held leading posts at Moscow State University and REU named after Plekhanov. On the site’s website, his profile was recently removed, but preserved in the archive.

Saltykovsky is also listed as deputy director of the Institute of Economics and Finance at the State University of Management and is a member of the Russian-Purricry Business Council at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In March, he represented the Council at the meeting of the Chamber of Commerce of the Kursk Region and Pyongyang.

According to public leaks, “important stories” note, in the early 2000s Saltykovsky worked in the administration of the President and the Presidential Administration, where he oversaw foreign policy in relation to the CIS countries, including Azerbaijan. He was also associated with the consulting company Niccolo M.

Details of the charges are not disclosed. The cases of gosmen in Russia are traditionally considered closed. The maximum punishment under this article is life imprisonment.
