The Ministry of Justice declared former Channel One journalist Marina Ovsyannikova and screenwriter Grigory Amnuel “foreign agents”

The Ministry of Justice added former Channel One employee Marina Ovsyannikova to the register of “foreign agents”. In 2022, she ran into the channel’s studio during a live broadcast with an anti-war poster, which was captured in the frame for a few seconds. Now Ovsyannikova lives abroad.

In addition to her, the list included:

• YouTube channel I News of Ukrainian-Georgian journalist Inna Kurochkina
• Former municipal deputy from Moscow, founder of the Action4Life foundation, which raises money to help the Ukrainian military, Maria Solenova
• Journalist and screenwriter Grigory Amnuel

Last week, the list of “foreign agents” was supplemented by film critic Zinaida Pronchenko, lawyer Dmitry Zakhvatov, who also works for the Action4Life foundation and defended Marina Ovsyannikova, and the independent literary award “DAR”.
