In Novotroitsk, a case was brought to court regarding the financing of the banned FBK

According to investigators, a local resident transferred money to a banned organization in the winter of 2022.

On December 30, 2025, the Novotroitsky City Court of the Orenburg Region received the case of a local resident accused under Part 1 of Art. 282.3 of the Criminal Code (financing of extremism).

According to investigators, in the winter of 2022, he transferred money to the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK), knowing about its ban.

FBK, the Foundation for the Defense of Citizens' Rights (FZPG) and Navalny's headquarters were recognized as extremist organizations on June 9, 2021 -in our opinion , without sufficient grounds. On August 4 of the same year, the decision was confirmed by the appellate court, and it entered into legal force. Since we consider this ban on Navalny’s structures as extremist to be unlawful, we also consider accusations of financing extremist activities for donations to them to be unlawful.
