ICE migration police agents shot and killed a man during a raid, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz said, as reported by the Associated Press.
“I just spoke with the White House following another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota is sick of it. This is disgusting. The President must put an end to this operation. Thousands of violent, untrained officers must be removed from Minnesota immediately,” Walz wrote on Twitter (X). Details are still unknown.
On January 7, during a raid against illegal migrants, an ICE agent shot and killed 37-year-old US citizen Renee Nicole Good. Federal authorities alleged that she tried to run over the agent with her car, but video from the scene does not confirm this. In the aftermath, protests broke out across America, with the mayor of Minneapolis demanding that ICE “get out of the city,” saying they posed a threat to the safety of its residents. Mass protests continue to this day.
