Ioann Kurmoyarov was fined for failing to mention his status as a foreign agent in publications

On February 2, 2026, the Kalininsky District Court of St. Petersburg fined former priest Ioann Kurmoyarov for refusing to accompany his publications with a notice of foreign agent status.

The court found him guilty under Part 4 of Art. 19.34 of the Administrative Code (production of materials and (or) their distribution by a foreign agent without indicating that these materials (information) were produced, distributed and (or) sent by a foreign agent or relate to the activities of a foreign agent) and sentenced him to a fine of 30 thousand rubles.
