On April 20, 2026, the 2nd Western District Military Court sentenced Alexander Glazunov, a 21-year-old fourth-year student at the Novomoskovsk Institute of Russian Chemical Technical University, to three years in a general regime colony under Part 2 of Art. 205.2 of the Criminal Code (justification of terrorism). The student is also deprived of the right to engage in activities related to the administration of Internet sites for two years.
According to the prosecution, on January 7, 2025, he posted a comment in which the investigation found signs of “justification of the activities” of the “Russian Volunteer Corps.”
Glazunov said that he did not know about the “terrorist” status of the RDK and thought that the unit was “in opposition” to power in Russia.
