On April 21, the Namsky District Court of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) sentenced 24-year-old Maxim Skrybykin under Part 2 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremist activities).
According to the press service, on July 12, 2025, a young man, while in one of the Telegram chats, left a comment under a video about the priest: “Shoot them all [obscene]. Like during the revolution in 1917.”
At the court hearing, the defendant fully admitted his guilt and repented.
The court took into account mitigating circumstances: admission of guilt, active contribution to the investigation, positive characteristics, young age.
The court sentenced the young man to two years of suspended imprisonment, with a probationary period of one year and six months, with an additional penalty of deprivation of the right to engage in activities related to the administration of Internet sites for one year and six months.
