Pervouralets was fined 300 thousand for transferring 100 rubles to the banned FBK

Another verdict under Art. 282.3 of the Criminal Code was issued in the Sverdlovsk region.

On June 3, 2026, the Pervouralsk City Court of the Sverdlovsk Region sentenced 27-year-old local resident Ruslan Garifyanov under Part 1 of Art. 282.3 of the Criminal Code (financing of extremism). He was sentenced to a fine of 300 thousand rubles.

It is reported that Garifyanov was accused of transferring 100 rubles in December 2021 to the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK), which was then banned. The defendant stated in court that he had no intention of supporting extremism.

FBK, the Foundation for the Defense of Citizens' Rights (FZPG) and Navalny's headquarters were recognized as extremist organizations on June 9, 2021 -in our opinion , without sufficient grounds. On August 4 of the same year, the decision was confirmed by the appellate court, and it entered into legal force. Since we consider this ban on Navalny’s structures as extremist to be unlawful, we also consider accusations of financing extremist activities for donations to them to be unlawful.
