On May 26 of this year, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug opened a criminal case against a resident of the city of Nadym, Alexander Gudyushkin, accused under Part 1.1 of Art. 205.1 of the Criminal Code (financing of terrorism).
According to the investigation, from 2021 to 2022, the accused transferred money to the accounts of an organization “whose activities, by a court decision, were recognized as terrorist and prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation.” (Probably, we are talking about financing “Artpodgotovka”).
Gudyushkin was detained by operative officers of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Tyumen region and taken into custody.
Let us note that Gudyushkin’s VKontakte avatar has an imperial flag, in one of the photographs he is wearing a polo with the inscription “Russian Empire”, and he has many far-right friends on the social network.
