A resident of the city of Aleksandrov was sentenced to one day of arrest for picketing with a poster “Let's save local self-government” | Argument

The Aleksandrovsky City Court of the Vladimir Region imposed administrative arrest for a period of 1 day on local activist Yuri Sayenko for the picket on May 1.

The court found that Sayenko violated the law on holding public events, since he allegedly held not a single, but a group picket, which requires filing a notification.

The court decision said that Sayenko “carried out a group picketing consisting of two people (the identity of the second citizen was not established) without filing a notification.” Sayenko himself did not admit guilt.

Previously, Yuriy Sayenko was fined 10 thousand rubles for recording a video message against the delivery of Moscow garbage to Alexandrov.
