The Vladimir City Museum of History and Local Lore hosted the opening of the exhibition project “Northern Military District: Freedom, Loyalty, Courage,” dedicated to the military invasion of Ukraine.
“The event was attended by employees of the investigative department of the Investigative Committee, military personnel, representatives of volunteer groups, public organizations, the Vladimir diocese and the public.
The exhibition features personal belongings, drawings depicting members of the Military Military District, mascots of military personnel, banners of military units and detachments and other exhibits that allow you to learn the history of specific fighters and even military dynasties, whose representatives defended the interests of their native country in armed conflicts with honor and dignity.
Museum director Evgenia Tsvetkova and other speakers noted the importance of community unity and support for those on the front line. Parallels have been drawn between modern events and the exploits of our ancestors during the Great Patriotic War,” the Investigative Committee said .
