In the oil regions of Russia they began to limit the sale of fuel to the population

Reports about the introduction of a limit on fuel sales continue to come from new regions of Russia. Restrictions have already affected Siberia, the Far East and the largest oil-producing regions of the country.

According to the Telegram channel “NeMoskva Speaks,” restrictions began to apply at gas stations of the Gazprom Neft network in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug: no more than 40 liters of gasoline and 80 liters of diesel fuel per person. Refueling is only allowed into the car's tank and with prepayment. Gas station employees reported that the new rules came into force on the night of June 23.

Similar measures have been introduced in the Tomsk region. As TV2 writes, the authorities explain them not by a shortage of fuel, but by the need to prevent its export to other regions. Motorists in Tyumen also reported the introduction of limits. At the same time, representatives of the Gazprom Neft network officially deny the existence of any restrictions.

In the Novosibirsk region, Governor Andrei Travnikov ordered to develop a unified position on the issue of fuel sales together with gas station owners. According to him, this is necessary to prevent speculation against the backdrop of similar measures in neighboring regions.

In Vladivostok, some gas stations have completely stopped selling gasoline in cans. At other gas stations there are restrictions - no more than 20 liters per container. The mayor of Yekaterinburg, Alexey Orlov, commenting on the situation, urged residents not to create a stir around fuel. At the same time, he emphasized that emergency services and life support facilities will be provided with fuel in full.

According to NeMoskva Says, today various restrictions on the sale of fuel are already in effect in more than 50 regions of Russia.
