Berezovsky: Criminal case for donations to Artpodgotovka

A resident of Berezovsky is accused of financing extremist activities.

On June 24, 2026, it became known that the Investigative Department for the city of Berezovsky Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kemerovo Region - Kuzbass had opened a criminal case against a 57-year-old woman under Part 1 of Art. 282.3 of the Criminal Code (financing extremist activities).

According to the investigation, from November 2021 to July 2023, she transferred donations to a movement “supporting the ideology of an interregional public association recognized as extremist in Russia.” (Most likely we are talking about the “Artpodgotovka” movement).
