In Karachay-Cherkessia, a case was brought to court under Art. 354.1 CC

Mark Nikerov is accused of posting comments on a social network approving the crimes of Nazi criminals.

In mid-June 2026, the Investigative Department for the city of Karachaevsk of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Karachay-Cherkess Republic completed the investigation of the criminal case of Mark Nikerov under Part 1 of Art. 354.1 of the Criminal Code (rehabilitation of Nazism committed in public).

According to the investigation, in 2020, the defendant posted comments in open communities on the social network approving the crimes of Nazi criminals.

The criminal case was received by the Supreme Court of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic on June 17, 2026.

Let us note that on March 12, 2026, the same court sentenced Mark Nikerov in another case under Part 1 of Art. 354.1 CC.
