In Yakutia, a sentence was passed under Art. 354.1 CC

A resident of Aldan received a suspended sentence for posting comments on a social network.

On June 24, 2026, the Supreme Court of Yakutia found the 18-year-old Aldan resident guilty under paragraph “c” of Part 2 of Art. 354.1 of the Criminal Code (rehabilitation of Nazism).

Let us recall that in October 2024, the person involved in the case, being a minor, posted freely accessible comments in one of the social network groups, in which the examination saw “a positive assessment of the activities of Nazi leaders, their ideology, approval of the civil and military losses of the Soviet Union in the Second World War.”

The court sentenced him to a two-year suspended sentence with deprivation of the right to engage in activities related to posting materials on the Internet for two years.
