The mentality is often called the main cause of backwardness, dictatorship, corruption, civil spine and apathy in Russia. The inhabitants of our country are supposedly historically, culturally and genetically predisposed to weave in the tail of civilization under the rule of kings and dictators, and therefore it is pointless to try to change anything.
