The Minister of Finance promised to increase military salaries by 20%, without waiting until September, as previously planned. The decision is more than timely, otherwise, little by little, the military, impoverished due to monetization, will join the protesting pensioners. However, not all people in uniform are feeling bad now. Back in December, the Ministry of Defense established a “monthly monetary incentive” for its central apparatus in the amount of 2.6 to 5.5 salaries.

It’s strange, because public money was spent on the purchase of the Yukos production company Yuganskneftegaz, since the buyer was the state company Rosneft. In this case, the revenue is nothing more than a decoction of eggs, which the Minister of Finance proposes to consider as budget income. Moreover, Rosneft received a loan of 6 billion dollars for this purchase, for which it must be paid. At best - 30 million dollars a month. And the state company will take this money from taxpayers.

Deputies of the Rodina faction, who went on a hunger strike demanding a moratorium on the law on the monetization of benefits and the dismissal of the Minister of Health and Social Development Mikhail Zurabov, will begin eating tomorrow. According to the head of Rodina, Dmitry Rogozin, the hunger strike only hinders the removal of Zurabov. Already today, the exhausted deputies will move to a clinic, where specialists will bring them out of the hunger strike.
