One of the parishes of the Stavropol city of Lermontov signed a cooperation agreement with the city department of internal affairs. From now on, parishioners will take the moral education of police officers into their own hands. According to the rector of the temple, in such a delicate matter the psychological state of the police must be taken into account.

Well, Mikhail Sergeyevich Gorbachev spoke about the scandal in the Moscow News. And before him, this was done literally everything - from Viktor Shenderovich to Alexander Nikolayevich Yakovlev. The deeply revered family of the Yasins considered it necessary to say a few words. The observation council of the newspaper, which includes many respected people, also, of course, did not stand aside - sharply criticized ...

The restless Boris Abramovich will not miss an opportunity to do something nice for Vladimir Putin. And now I asked for a visa exactly on the eve of the Russian president’s visit to Kyiv. Now Vladimir Vladimirovich, driving along Khreshchatyk, will look out for a familiar face. Meanwhile, the issue of Berezovsky's stay in Ukraine may become a trump card for Viktor Yushchenko in the negotiations.

In the Chita region, four conscript border guards shot all the officers at one of the outposts. Three more policemen died while detaining deserters. And in early March, two border guards in the Pskov region shot and killed three passengers in a passing car. In February, two armed deserters were killed during arrest in Buryatia. In general, as President Vladimir Putin recently stated, “the appearance of our Armed Forces is becoming more worthy of great Russia every year.”

Boris Gryzlov was asked to comment on the VTsIOM survey data, which says that 69% of Russians are dissatisfied with the work of the Duma. The speaker replied that “today new reforms are being introduced in the country, and Russians are always wary of new things.” And he’s right. Residents of the dear Fatherland have learned: everything that comes from the authorities can only worsen their lives; reasonable reforms turn into their opposite due to bungling and bribery.

It seems that Rosneft is pestering YUKOS with material claims only because it still has something left. Otherwise, it is difficult to explain why the new owner of Yuganskneftegaz, having bought it for nothing, through the court demands that the previous owners pay for management mistakes allegedly committed in 1999-2003. The amount of the claim is 11 billion dollars. Most likely, Rosneft proceeds from the fact that nowadays everyone wins in court against YUKOS.

This is not journalism or even speculation. This is a medical fact established by the court: the Ministry of Defense is wasting other people's money. And what! Money from the inconsolable parents of soldiers who died during the fighting. The money that the military department should issue as compensation for dead children. There is no doubt - all the gold in the world will not replace a murdered son. But, on the other hand, a decent monument for a grave costs money, and a lot of it.

In the afternoon of March 14, the assault on house No. 26 on Pobeda Street in Khasavyurt began. Having released the owner, two militants who had taken refuge in the house took up the fight. The “security forces” - both federal from the mobile detachment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and local from the riot police, SOBR, as well as special forces of the FSB - tried to undermine the blocked house and fire at it with grenade launchers.

Yesterday, Dagestani special services managed to block two militants in a private house in Khasavyurt. As a result of the assault, a fire broke out and spread to neighboring streets. With the onset of darkness, hostilities ceased. And in the morning, as Ekho Moskvy reported, it turned out that the bandits had managed to escape. The failure was apparently due to the fact that this time tanks did not participate in the assault.

In uniform According to the general account March 15, 2005 Alexander Golts Some time ago, domestic media reported with pleasure about the terrible embarrassment that happened to the US Minister of Defense Donald Ramsfeld. It turned out that on the letters addressed to the families of the dead American soldiers, there is a stamp with Faximil of the Minister, and not his personal signature. Ramsfeld apologized for a long time and repented.
