Dear Concern
The government has approved rules for the application of security measures for victims, witnesses and other participants in criminal proceedings. Experts began to doubt its effectiveness even before its launch. Project financing leaves much to be desired. The budget allocates 948.7 million rubles for the program. in 2006-2008. But the money has not yet been received by the law enforcement agencies. So far there is no money even for banal security.

Not playing football
In the final information programs, the country continues to savor the details of the three -hour communication of the president with citizens on the air. This is communication, as Fazil Iskander would say, "an interesting undertaking, by the way." If the last Russian emperor had a similar opportunity, I think, there would be no revolutions in 1917.

Daily Journal: Kremlyady
It seems they've finished the game. But just a year ago, most analysts expressed a simple thought: fascism is an extremely dangerous toy. You can't just take it out of the drawer, use it for a while, and then put it back. No matter how hard you try, she won’t go back. Ah, this wonderful penchant for simple scenarios.

They won't give up without change
Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev did not submit a new draft Constitution of Kyrgyzstan to parliament on Thursday. He promised to introduce it on November 6, but the disillusioned opposition had already started an open-ended rally at 11:00 Moscow time demanding Bakiev’s resignation. After that, the president disappeared through the back door. The center of Bishkek is already closed to vehicles. The approaches to the Government House from the eastern and northern sides are closed.

Earlier, the Georgian authorities withdrew their signature on the agreement on Russia's accession to the WTO, resuming negotiations on this issue. Subsequently, lawyers admitted that the Georgian side has the right to do such an act.

To whom is unity, and to whom is unity
“I am sure that... no radicals will be able to undermine the tradition of our life together,” Bishop Kirill noted. Old Believers are ready to share their experience of “honest business activity, conciliarity, and internal self-government.” Muslims and Jews also spoke about the need for cooperation and respect for each other. However, half of Russian citizens, according to VTsIOM, do not consider November 4 a holiday and are not going to celebrate it.

Where does the money go?
The Central Bank is planning a large-scale reform of cash circulation. Soon, Russians may have to stop using one- and five-kopeck coins, which have long been a meaningless burden in home piggy banks. It is planned to replace ten-ruble notes with coins, the production of which is too expensive due to the need to frequently replace the mass of worn-out banknotes. In addition, the number of thousandth and 500-ruble bills will reportedly decrease. So, inflation is not far off?

The Act of Canonical Communion is published
Of the two options proposed in the draft - the Act is approved by Councils or Synods - the latter, more “vertical”, prevailed. But the bishops of the ROCOR (L) become full participants not only in the Local Council and the Synod of the ROC MP, but also in the Councils of Bishops. In the Church Abroad there are still opponents to such a rapid reunification, but members of the ROCOR (L) are gradually being included in church life in Russia.
