In the village of Svetlogorye, Pozharsky District, Primorsky Territory, for seven months now, since September, the village-forming enterprise “Russian Tungsten”, which employs approximately three hundred of the thousand local residents, has been idle. Interfax, citing one of the members of the Russian Tungsten trade union, reports that for seven months workers have not received wages and are starving, children eat only potatoes, adults eat potato peelings.
