Yevgeny Yevtushenko was hospitalized in serious condition
From the book “Venice. History of water and land" Poet Yevgeny Yevtushenko was hospitalized in the United States, his wife Maria Novikova told TASS. Doctors assess Yevtushenko’s condition as serious. In 2013, Yevtushenko suffered amputation of his right leg. The operation was necessary because the titanium plate that the poet was inserted to replace his worn ankle joint caused inflammation.
