Fragment of the collection of works by Dmitry Furmanov "Red Front" The collection of works by Dmitry Furmanov, the author of the famous novel “Chapaev”, included a diary for 1914-1916, the story “Red Troth” and other notes and letters under the general name “His name is Chapai”. After the outbreak of World War I, Furmanov entered the army and hit the Turkish Front, where he served his brother of mercy on a sanitary train. We publish excerpts from his diary for April 1915.
