Two new foci of coronavirus have been identified in the Pskov Regional Hospital, Governor of the Pskov Region Mikhail Vedernikov announced on his Instagram page. The outbreaks were registered in two different departments of the regional hospital. The current number of patients is 10. Mikhail Vedernikov assured that all necessary measures were promptly taken. Recall that the number of deaths from coronavirus in the Pskov region as of July 23 reached 48 people .

The Pskov regional court declared illegal the decision of the administration of the Pskov region on changing the general plan of the Tyamshanskaya volost for the construction of the Titan-Polymer.

From Monday, July 27, patients with COVID-19 will be treated only in the Pskov city hospital, in the so-called covid center: Mikhail Vedernikov, governor of the Pskov region, announced this at a meeting with doctors on July 23. Marina Garashchenko, Chairman of the Committee on Health and Pharmacy of the Pskov Region, said that by Monday, covid beds should be transferred to normal operation.

Two more people died from the coronavirus in the Pskov region: according to the regional information center, on the morning of July 23, there were 48 deaths in the region. Moreover, over the past day, the number of detected cases of the disease has increased - 48, while the day before there were 32 cases, and at the beginning of the week - 16 and 17 cases. In total, 3534 cases of infection were confirmed in the Pskov region, 2278 people recovered (+58 over the past day).

The former head of the division of Russian Railways will be tried in Novosokolniki for taking a bribe on an especially large scale: as reported by the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation, the North-Western Transport Prosecutor's Office approved the indictment. The man is accused of committing crimes under Part 1 of Art. 285 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and part 6 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
