About 20% of the funds collected by the military assistance fund established by the governor of the Leningrad region ended up in an intermediary company. It belongs to a businessman close to him - “Important Stories”
From August 2022 to March 2023, the Leningrad Frontier fund for helping Russian military personnel, established by the region's governor Alexander Drozdenko, collected 56 million rubles from state employees and businessmen. 37 of them were received by an intermediary company owned by businessman Oleg Barzinsky, close to the governor. She, in turn, spent only 25.6 million on real purchases of uniforms, the rest went to pay salaries and cash loans to the Barzinsky family.
