The German Minister of Culture spoke out against the “cultural boycott of everything Russian”
German Culture Minister Claudia Roth, speaking at the opening of the Frankfurt Book Fair, called for an end to the “cultural boycott of everything Russian.” Roth emphasized that “the Russian language is not Putin’s property.” According to her, there is also “another Russia”: human rights activists, writers, dissidents, the younger generation, representatives of the LGBTQ community and environmental movements.
