Observers reported irregularities on the first day of voting in the presidential election
By 8:00 am Moscow time, polling stations for voting in the presidential elections opened in most regions of Russia. And the first data on turnout came from the regions in the east of the country. Thus, in Chukotka, by 15:00 local time (6:00 Moscow time), more than half of the registered voters had voted. As reported by RIA Novosti with reference to an unnamed representative of the regional election commission, the turnout was 50.06%.
