A foreigner was able to legalize in the UK after 50 years
Samuel Jarrett-Cocker, who came to the UK, was waiting for the country's authorities to legalize his emigrant status. The man was born to Sierra Leone and managed to cross the British border, presenting his brother’s passport, who was 20 years older than him, said The Guardian. The 61-year-old Jarrett-Cocker arrived in the UK in 1976, hoping to stay in the country under the Windrush program. This program was launched in the late 1940s to replace working posts after the Second World War.
