Russian businessmen began to close their accounts in Cyprus banks after toughening the requirements for customers, writes Bloomberg. “The number of Russians is reduced in Cyprus,” said Kiriacos Jordan, General Director of the Institute of Certified Accountants of Cyprus. So, two Russian businessmen, who have been in Cyprus for more than ten years, told the publication that in recent months, banks were associated with them and requested documents about the sources of these funds.
